With a huge heart for their community, they’re deeply involved in social justice work and community programs both inside and outside the salon. When they’re not behind the chair, Olive runs DRKMTTR, a nonprofit music venue dedicated to uplifting artists and creating inclusive spaces. A proud cat parent, Olive thrives on meaningful connections with clients, whether the conversation turns to music, social justice, or how to make their hair a form of self-expression.

The electric Alexa Brooke has been blazing the hair industry for over 15 years. While her specialty is balayage, blondes, and vivid color, Alexa is no stranger to iconic cuts. Bren is a bilingual Southern California native who began her hair + makeup journey in the editorial world. She still remains an editorial HMU artist & within the salon specializes in vivids, detailed color transformations, lived-in color, sew-in extensions, & gender-less cuts. Bren welcomes all and dedicates her creative eye to each guest in her chair. She is passionate about connecting with you as well as her role within the Nashville Latinx community. As a Latinx individual, she understands the sanctity and care required for dark, dense, and coarse hair. She views your hair as a collaborative effort + can’t wait to bring your most colorful ideas to life.

Bre has been doing hair for nearly a decade, but their love for the craft started much earlier. Growing up with a stepdad who’s also a hairdresser, she was introduced to the magic of hair through bold, vivid color looks he gave her that sparked her passion for the art. At just 16, he took her to her first cutting class (cool dad award), and from that moment on, they knew hair was their calling.
For Bre, hair has always been a powerful form of self-expression—one that helped them discover who they are. Now, they’re passionate about giving that same confidence to their clients. She specializes in short, lived-in, effortlessly cool cuts, but also loves creating beautiful blondes and adding the perfect pop of color. When Bre’s not behind the chair, they loves spending time with their husband, two dogs, and reading a good book.

Sam grew up in the North Woods of Wisconsin, but has proudly called East Nashville her home for almost a decade. With over 12 years experience, she loves creating dimensional and vibrant colors that reflect each of her guests unique personalities and make them feel like their best selves! Outside of the salon, you can find her making sourdough, hanging out with her high school sweetheart of 17 years, or her rescue pups, Garth and Pearl. Relationships and connection are at the forefront of her art, and she is grateful to cultivate that with the incredible people in her chair, neighborhood, and community.

An Arizona native and recent Aveda graduate, Savannah is a new stylist with nearly four years of experience in the beauty industry through management and front desk. She brings both heart and humor into the salon and is eager to grow behind the chair. Savannah will win you over with conversations about her dogs, her ever-expanding plant collection, or good books. She prefers tea over coffee, donuts over salads, and will bring out a good laugh as she self-identifies as our resident funny person.

Front desk extraordinaire at Mayday, Sammy Jo is the salon’s director of vibes, enhancing the human experience one interaction at a time and encouraging those around her to live their most authentic self. Passionate about music, animals, food, travel, and immersive experiences, she lives life in yellow–followed by the whole rainbow. A beach-loving, photosynthesizing, colorful-bird-at-heart, she leads with her motto: Hate With Love, Lead With Kindness. You can find her at Mayday making you a coffee, bringing you a smile, at a Preds Game where she works on the energy team, in a hip-hop dance class or at your local concert.
